As much as I love to make fun of people that still have their hilarious email addresses from middle school, I’m telling you to ditch it. Go onto Gmail and make an account just for your wedding. This will keep you much more organized.
2. Don’t Lose a Hand
You’ll be giving your information out to every vendor you talk with. So head on over to your nearest FedEx business location and print off some stickers. The sticker should include your name, phone number, email, wedding date and, if you’re an overachiever, your budget. This will save you a great deal of time and you’ll be thankful your hand isn’t throbbing at the end of the show.
3. Do Some Research
First things first. Go to OKBride Bridal Show (OKLAHOMA CITY) or Dallas Bridal Show and pre-register / sign up. This will not only save you time standing in line but it will usually save you a few dollars as well. Second, look through the vendors, research them (Website / Insta / Facebook) and make a list of vendors you want to visit. Third, keep to your vendor list. A little browsing in other areas won’t hurt but sticking to your list will make for a much more productive day.
4. Rate Your Vendors
You’re going to meet a lot of people in a very short amount of time. Cope with that by creating a rating system. It doesn’t matter how you do it, just do it. Take a minute after every vendor you meet and put your rating system into action. If you don’t, the next day you’ll wake up wondering what to do with your huge sack of business cards.
5. Crutches & Wedding Dresses Don’t Match
No need to wear heals or your fancy new shoes. You’re going to be on your feet and walking around a lot. Wear something comfortable so that you can stay longer and meet as many awesome vendors as possible!
